Jonathan currently works as a Artist for THQ Australia in Brisbane, Australia. During his career in the games industry, he's worked for Bungarra Software in Perth in Western Australia and Blitz Games in Leamington Spa in England. He also had a four month stay in London, where he worked as a salesman in a GAME Store in Victoria Station, which gave him some perspective on why people buy games outside his usual tastes. Train drivers actually buy train simulators. It's like they can't get enough of it during the day.
He's been into Illustration and comics for as long as he can remember and learning 3D Studio Max in a BA Degree in Industrial Design lead him down computer artist route. Digital painting in Photoshop and figure drawing gives him the freedom to express his imagination, maintain his skills, distract himself from the heavy technical work in a game development and more opportunities to refer to himself in third person.
Jonno has been a member of the eatpoo.com forums, conceptart.org forums and sometimes the CGTalk forums for six years using the handle, 'Highfive'. Now that spam-bots are running amok on public forums and pimping useless websites, he's been content to stay on one secret art forum instead.
