One more month before Avatar: The Burning Earth is released! The team's worked extremely hard on this and now it's about to be unleashed on the world. Now that my free time has returned, I'm training myself to get back into a painting routine that will ultimately keep me sane. The results are two new african themed paintings, and maybe some new sketches...

Wow, what a year...ah...so far. Three moves, work's been crazy but now I'm finally able to finish the paintings I've started. Take a look at Cuban Motor Crisis in the paintings section and a host of figure sketches in the sketches section.

There hasn't been a lot of action in the painting department over these last six months. Work and moving house a couple of times have been so heavy on my time, I've only been able to keep the skills up with quick paintings and sketches which you can find in the galleries.

Geez, after three months of living in Brisbane, I'm finally recovering from the culture shock. Moving from England to Queensland, even with a four month stay in Perth, demands a whole new mindset. Everyone here looks SO DAMN RELAXED but so much is going on the background. It's been hard to get used to. As a bit of homage, take a look at Done-up Holden in the 2D and some new figure studies in the sketches section.
